Who He Is
Building the new age of ownership.
John Tyler is the founder of Your Legacy University, where he works with coaches, consultants, and business owners who are ready to build something real — without burning money on tools and subscriptions they don't truly control.
His mission is simple: Help serious builders step out of the rental cycle.
Too many coaches feel overwhelmed by platforms, pressured by endless subscriptions, and frustrated that their businesses feel fragile despite all their effort. John saw this pattern early and built Your Legacy University to solve it.
The Foundation
Before the business.
Before John entered the world of coaching and online business, his path was unconventional. He left home young, lived across different countries, and spent years in construction — not as a quick job, but as a serious trade.
For a long period, he operated tower cranes. Long days spent alone, hundreds of feet in the air, responsible for heavy machinery where mistakes had real, immediate consequences.
"That environment taught him something early: systems matter. Structure matters. You cannot build anything that lasts without them."
When John later transitioned into coaching and online business, he saw the same issue repeated over and over. Coaches and business owners were working hard, but building on systems they didn't control.
Platforms, communities, content, payments — all rented. Stop paying, and parts of the business disappeared. It was the opposite of lasting structure.
He didn't see a motivation problem.
He saw an ownership problem.
The Solution
Your Legacy University.
Your Legacy University was created to help people step out of that rental cycle. It is an education and mentorship platform designed to help members build and host their own digital foundation — programs, content, communities, and systems — in infrastructure they actually control.
Modern tools and AI are used responsibly — not to replace people, but to make businesses simpler, clearer, and more affordable to run and scale.
This is not about hype, shortcuts, or overnight success. It's about helping people build something they can grow, protect, and feel confident in long term.

Philosophy
What he believes.
Ownership Builds Longevity
The coaches who own their platforms will always have an edge over those renting theirs. Platform policies change. Subscriptions increase. Algorithms shift. When you own your infrastructure, you control your destiny.
Systems Create Leverage
Sustainable coaching businesses are built on clear systems, not individual heroics. The best coaches scale through systems — repeatable processes that let them serve more clients without burning out.
Simplicity Wins
The best business systems are simple to understand and simple to execute. Complex doesn't mean sophisticated. Real power comes from clarity and simplicity that actually works.
Ideal Client
Who he works with.
Serious Builders
People who are actually in the game, working with clients, and ready to scale through systems — not theories.
Long-Term Thinkers

Execution-Focused

Ownership Believers
